So I've been home since December 15th which has been both wonderful and not-so-wonderful. I love having my own room again, and its nice not to have any school work to actually have to do over break. I also decided that I wanted two jobs over break, which is both fun and running me into the ground. I'm back at my old job at Starbucks, and I'm loving that. I also got offered a job at the University of Minnesota (where I go to college) Small Animal Hospital. I take care of a group of five greyhounds that they got in a few days before Christmas for their blood donor program. I let them out, feed them, give them meds, walk them, etc. I love that job so much, it just gets to be a bit much driving down to campus every single day. I alternate with a friend of mine who also got offered the job, so I'm either there at 3:30 in the afternoon, or 6 in the morning. The morning shifts are easy 'cause we don't have to do as much, but it's not fun getting up so early. I've gotten so attached to the greyhounds; their names are Hawk, Quick Loan, Billy the Kid, Bad Company, and Jimbo. Yes the names are a little unusual; they were racing dogs before they came to the U.

Anyways, as I had hoped, I got a new camera for Christmas! It's not an SLR, but it's a pretty nice camera anyways. It's a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS. The screen is really nice on the back, and I'm still trying to figure out all of its features. Once I do that, some photography should be showing up on here.
